Sunrise of Henderson

super-committed staff

I would rate Sunrise as a 5 in all categories. The staffing is the key. They have lots of helpers so there are always people around to talk with my husband. The staff really try to figure out what makes the residents happy, and then provide that.

Great facility -- Mom is happy and safe!

Much better than [removed name] (which, now that I have something to compare, I'd give a 3). There is Low/no(?) staff turnover (which was an issue at [removed name]. The Staff is very professional, friendly, courteous. Apartment is small but my understanding is that's to be expected in Memory Care. There's one member of the nursing staff that's less professional and a bit too "rough around the edges" for my taste but she's only part-time and everyone else is excellent IMO! Great activities. I went there to see the facility for my mother. I was interested in bringing her to Henderson nv. Unfortunately they have a wait list. My mother is concerned about the cost. She is 96 but needs a nice place with good care. [name removed] is an assist there. I would feel comfortable with my mother being there under her watch. She is very compassionate. I’ve been in touch with her and [name removed] in mission Viejo ca. both are very helpful. Hopefully I can get her in there in the future?

The Enhanced care option. Transportation availability, albeit limited.

[name removed]talked about how great the facility was, and her family issues, but declined on showing us the facility. Maybe it was the fact that we thought the Memory center was too expensive, but how could we judge without seeing where my wife would be living for the rest of her life!! She seemed to focus on er experiences rather than the physical plant How could we just value if we couldn’t see anything other than [name removed] office
