★★★★★
PositiveIt is not a CCRC facility. It is a for profit not a non-profit so t's bottom line is different. The rates are higher because it is in Pikesville. The buy-in is a non-refundable $[removed] depending on what size apartment you want. Rates are more than $[removed]/month. 75% of the 30 folks who are independent living folks (of a total capacity of 60 beds) also have a Level One Car package for $[removed] a month (and that is in addition to monthly rent). [name removed] from sales was great.

PositiveThe staff were friendly and professional as they attended to much of the people staying there. Me and my coworker had went to Sunrise cause it was highly recommended by a ex coworker. An the person giving the information and tour was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. The atmosphere felt comforting and pleasing, which was a place I am trying to look for, for my mom. I asked if they have a Sunrise in Frederick which I well be later going in May. I would like to thank the person attending…

PositiveI like that it isn't a huge community. To me, there is a family feel. Staff knows all the residents (in memory care) and are friendly to family. Yes, I would recommend them.

CriticalAlthough Sunrise is more expensive, certainly did not experience the warmth, care or even being outside of the room a lot. Compared to [name removed]... he cried the first day when he was allowed to stay in common rooms after lunch instead of being out back in his room alone.
