PositiveThe caregivers are wonderful, especially [Name Removed]! They are really on top of my husband's needs and have taken the challenge of working with this younger man with dementia. I know it's been difficult for them since they're used to much older people, but he in just a month or so is really starting to settle in nicely. The one thing I think they could improve on is their on boarding process if that's how you would say it. I think they could really benefit from scheduling more time to talk with an interview the …

PositiveWhat we like the most about the community is that the caregivers treat my mom like she is part of their family. They have a lot of activities and entertainment that involve the families. We would absolutely recommend The Renley community to other families.

CriticalMonthly rent costs are expensive for average or below average income residents, and there are substantial yearly rent increases. Room size for my brother is small but ok for him. Some nice amenities available e.g social/ community room with tv, microwave, fridge; outdoor front/ back patios with tables and chairs, large tv in dining area. Some more amenities could be added. I would not recommend Woodholme Gardens for average income residents due mainly to its high affordable cost.
Response from the communityThank you for sharing your thoughtful feedback. We understand concerns around cost and value, and we’re glad some amenities have been positive for your brother. Your input is important and has been shared with our team as we continue working to enhance our offering. Kind regards, Alison

PositiveThe staff member who gave the tour was very nice in general, and was especially nice to my 84 year-old father, who was on the tour with us, so I appreciate that. What stands out to me as a positive at Woodholme compared to other facilities is the high ceilings of the residents’ rooms because the high ceilings make it seem like the rooms aren’t so small. The fact that it was a smaller facility than others was appealing. It was nice that an activity for residents was happening when we got there. I also liked the secu…

CriticalMy experience at Woodholme, unfortunately was not a good one: Constantly sending emails, no follow up, no showers on shower day, room not cleaned on housekeeping day, having to be reminded to wash clothes, missing items, "Short staffed" (per the staff) which DEFINITELY affected patient care!!! For the price, very sad!!! Every employee does "not" have patience, and some simply lack compassion and empathy. In society as a whole, you have some people work in a field simply for a paycheck and others who love what they…
