Overall, the facility is fine. The staff and dining are also good. An areas that I'd like to see improved is: - better feedback from the staff on my mother's general well being. The only drawback that we are facing is that mother is not adapting very well to assisted living.

PositiveReview for Sunrise of Schaumburg
Sunrise of Schaumburg provided very good care of my mom for her short stay there ([date removed]). They had plenty of activities for the residents and the facilities were clean , modern, and well equipped. One thing I would like to say as far as facilities is the inside is fine, but the outside building from the street side needs some work- broken handrails on the porch area and trim along the roof missing or broken.

I would give them a 5 across the board. They have been excellent and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. My father in law is very happy there and has made a lot of new friends . His room is spotless and he likes the food very much and participates in most of the daily activities.

PositiveHighly recommend
Beautiful facility. Very helpful and kind staff. The level of Mom's care needs pretty low right now, so we find that certain things might be overlooked by staff, e.g. laxative needs, room temperature controls, how to work the tv, etc. She has memory issues and might forget things and not say anything about it. A little more inquiry and observation would be good even though she performs all of her adls. Would really like to see two things...add the tv channel that plays Cubs games (Mom is a diehard fan) and some out…
