Overall, the community is clean, modern, and well maintained. The staff is friendly, caring, and management is generally responsive, even through some staff turnover. What struck us most was the well thought out design of the facility and rooms but also the intentional design of the Reeds Landing area. The proximity to several family member’s residences makes Ackerly a strong candidate for our retirement choice. Great staff!

The staff are wonderful, the cost is pretty expensive, but the tenants are super nice to each other. I think it will work for most people.

Review for The Ackerly at Reed’s Crossing

Ackerly now with completed stores and other businesses places to eat would be good. It's close to train tracks which is noisy but I did like watching it go by, walking good near wetlands and other pathways. I believe the paths are about 6 miles etc assuming everything is completed.

Beautiful setting. Spacious rooms, plenty of activities, close to shopping, friendly staff and residents. I would definitely consider staying in independent living here.

Magnificent staff. Residents appeared the happiest I’ve ever seen in similar buildings. Sample lunch was excellent. I was given a complete tour of the building and residence size suited to my level of interest.
