CriticalThings to know
There were no permanent admins for the 2 months we were there and the head nurse left after we arrived. Not for someone who is ambulatory. Most of the residents were not. It felt more like a nursing home than assisted living. But the rooms are nice and large. My family member was diabetic and the food options were not designed for her.

PositiveMet our Immediate Need
The staff are friendly and attentive to medical and comfort needs. The place is clean with classy decor. Most of the head staff were brought in from other cities so went home on the weekends which made it feel deserted Fridays-Mondays. We needed diabetic care which took some educating of the staff re: food and meds. Most of the residents are not ambulatory and very reclusive. We are moving to a younger populated place.

When I signed up for my father last year the only reason why I like that place was there were certain people that were running the place. PositiveCare for my father in law at Woodbourne
Woodbourne Place is a very nice place for seniors. It is a small facility, that consist of 50 patients. On staff they have 2 nurses and a few aids. Betsy is the Manager and is wonderful. My father in law was there for 2 1/2 months. He made some friends. Food was good. They have great help working there. Activities, sitting area outside, 3 meals a day. We liked it there for my father in law. He was a fall risk, he had no falls there. They are very accommodating,My father in law came home with us in December before C…
