Dad enjoyed his time living at the Carlstone. And became friends with some of the other residents. Location was first factor in choosing.room sizes were quite nice. He liked the dining room and menu offered.

Quality of care: general lack of concern for residents, send stern notices for missing rent instead of calling the resident. These people are elderly, if they miss a payment, a phone reminder is all they need. Administrative Staff: the administration is barely staffed. They are slow to respond to complaints and respond with "that's a corporate issue" when residents have issues. The manager [name removed] may be related to the owners and doesn't seem to be overly active in tending to the needs of the residents. Fo…
