Overall, the experience has been very positive, and we feel it was a good choice. The facility is well kept and has always been clean every time we visited. The staff is very friendly and reasonable. So far, the care has been very good. It’s not an easy job day in and day out, but we feel the staff does its best. The administrative staff is good. I have been the caregiver for a resident at The Cascades at Stone Bridge as of 2018. Since National Healthcare Assoc. acquired the facility in June of 2024, the management here has been the best by far. I agree with past reviewers the environment is warm, clean, organized and beautifully maintained. Most important to me is that the management under the current Executive Director is the best by far. Like most of these places, they're understaffed it seems they were purchased out. They're trying their best, but it's the same problem for all of the senior living facilities finding adequate staff to come and help and cover the people that are here doing the job. This place The Cascades is very good when I talk to them and ask them to do something or something hasn't been done. They're very responsive which I appreciate.

If you choose to place a loved one with Stone Bridge, I can only recommend that you install security cameras in your loved one’s room. I’m glad we did as I’ve been able to turn over hours of security footage to the state authorities currently investigating the facility. We moved our loved one away from that facility as quickly as we could.

I give them 5 out of 5 on every item. We're thrilled with them. My dad is still unhappy and having trouble adjusting, but that's more of an emotional issue. Yes, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families. The director, [name removed], is wonderful. And so is [name removed], the RN. The staff is very nice!

PositiveGrateful to find the combination of a lovely facility and a kind, responsive staff
My loved one was previously a resident at The Commons of Newtown. The move in process was easy and the staff communication was excellent. The staff was very responsive to any concerns or requests that my mom had - she was visiting my dad every day. The staff was also unfailingly kind and patient with my dad. He also responded to the activities and the community there. It was a great fit for him and a great relief to my mom. I would highly recommend The Commons of Newtown to others!
