The Courtyards Assisted Living and Memory Care is conveniently located in the friendly town of Odessa, Texas. Neighboring Midland city limits is a mere 5 miles from our beautiful community. The Courtyards provides Assisted living for seniors as well as a safe and secured memory care environment for seniors living with Alzheimer's or dementia. This allows for needed transitions in services that will come with time, without forfeiting the meaningful friendships that residents have formed with their neighbors and our associates. Our associates are not staff, but an extended family of care givers. They have received the best and latest training in all aspects of care giving. We are genuinely concerned about the well-being of each and every resident and we strive to provide the best quality of care. Residents enjoy amenities such as computer stations, a private dining room, a library, theater and activity room, a game room with a pool table, a full service salon, three home cooked meals daily, a beautifully landscaped interior courtyard and much more. Staff is very nice. The memory care unit is extremely locked down so we know our mom is safe. Probably The rating is for what we pay & what we feel we get for the money.

The care givers are very kind and helpful despite being overworked many days. I enjoy living in the Assisted Living section and my husband is in the memory care section. Several of the staff have recently quit or been fired so there seems to be regular turnover. We have recently been without hot water for several days.

lived here over a year. Most staff work less than 40 hours a WEEK so aren't paid benefits which results in high turnover. Most staff are friendly and helpful but don't stay long. Meals and dining, the quality of the food is trending downward i.e. today the pork chop was about 1/4" thick. Meat was very overdone. while the potatoes were undercooked. the vegetables were okay. Sometimes, items are over spiced for many residents. Generally, the quaintly each meal is okay. Most people feel safe here and enjoy interacti…

The meals are better during the week and the activities are improving. Facility is very nice with friendly, helpful staff. My sister who is very picky was very impressed with the facility. The maintenance man is wonderful about fixing any issues quickly.

PositiveOverall nice community
The overall cleanliness is good. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Snacks seem a little sparse to me but I don't know. I haven't been there very often when activities were offered but I know activities are scheduled. The few times I've been there the staff has a hard time getting residents to participate. Only complaint is that on a couple of occasions we had to ask the staff to clean mom's bathroom and restock toilet paper.
