CriticalMixed emotions, traumatic but found some caring people
I toured the facility and was very impressed with the sales director and the facilities. Everything was good for the first couple of months, but as my mom's dementia increased the patience with my mom from the wellness director diminished. The review does not give enough space to explain the problems in detail, but there was one incident where my mom was forced from her chair against her will and put in bed. The next morning her right arm was covered in bruises. Another incident the staff member did not put my mom …

Very glad to be out of SH. If you are mobile and self sufficient you can tolerate it. Otherwise, very little care and attention. Very sad. I would not recommend it at all.

I spent most of the day at The Gardens at Shadow Hills and found the people that work there to be loving and gentle with the residents. Awesome place for Mom. The food is wonderful and the new Activity person is amazing.
