Wonderful home environment

I must say this is the best decision we made for my father ! [name removed] and her staff are so welcoming and made my father really feel at home . They always have the best activities for their residents! Highly recommend this beautiful facility that residents can call home.

Great Marketing Reality doesn't match up

GOB does not offer full care for someone very sick They will tell you they do but their idea of care is to put them in a wheelchair and leave them. My husband left there for the hospital in a badly dehydrated state despite my repeated requests to make sure he had available water due to his kidney failure This is not somewhere you want to leave your loved one.

Review for The Gardens of Buda Assisted Living

It is a beautiful place, but the level of care there is not as good as I feel it could be. I think that they have a very short staff. The food wasn't all that good but mom made it anyway of course it's very clean. Trying to get a hold of a loved one they never answer their phones. It's very hard to get a hold of a loved one. I've tried to call the administrator for two weeks and I haven't got through yet. She hasn't called me back. I feel they're way overpriced for the service that they provide.

The facility is very clean and the social director is fantastic

Overall, pleasant community

Overall decent for experiencing Memory Care for the first time. Staff seemed attentive for most part. Activities seemed to not match my moms level of need, walkie-talkie, self sufficient. Room size smaller than expected but worked out for the better but wish she had her personal shower.
