Lovely facility, but room for improvement.

The food, service and attitude was generally terrible. No attempt to meet dietary needs. Most of the staff and administration were great. A few seemed to forget this was assisted living, not a hospital.

The Grove - the right decision!

There are so many things I like about The Grove.I felt comfortable the first time I went there. The administration and staff are easy to work with and although the facility itself is very large, it has a very nice vibe to it. EmpowerMe, the therapy company The Grove contracted with, is awesome. The therapists do an amazing job and are a great group of people. That was a "biggie" for us. According to many of the residents with whom I conversed, the main complaint was the quality of the food. Apparently, it went d

A Nice Community for Your Loved One

All the personnel are very friendly and helpful. Only real problem was lack of communication and confusion with sales/admin staff when moving in, and problems with billing that have taken too long to get resolved.

We can't imagine a better place!

My dad was a reluctant resident at first. The staff arranged for him to sit at a table with other guys so he didn't feel awkward at meals. He quickly got involved in a few activities thanks to [name removed], one of the activities directors. Before we knew it, he was going to almost everything they offer - candy bingo, morning exercise, men's breakfast and lunch bunch (both where they go out to eat). He is doing so much more physically and socially than he was doing at home. There are so many organized activities!

Response from the community

Thank you for sharing such kind words about your dad’s experience at The Grove. We’re so glad he feels connected, active, and supported by both our activities and therapy teams. It’s wonderful to see him thriving, and we’re honored to be part of his journey!
