We have found the indigo staff to be friendly and it has been a good place for my mom. They have a new activities coordinator that has been doing a nice job with more activities including some that involve families. As far as improvement I would say it would be nice to have more people there to add some more friends for the residents.

Originally I placed [name removed] at Artis of Elmhurst via a place for mom over 2 years ago, which was taken over several months ago by Chapters, which lasted a few months, which was just taken over by Indigo in August. [name removed] is comfortable there and some of the caregivers that were there with Artis are still there, but there has been a lot of turnover, but I am still happy there as I feel he is getting good care. And I was not happy with Chapters, but so far so good under Indigo.

A Wonderful Experience at Artis Senior Living of Elmhurst

My mother lived at Artis Senior Living for a little over a year and a half. While there she received excellent care. The facility is small so they know everyone by name. It is clean, bright facility with single rooms for each resident. They have a wonderful program of activities as well as events for family participation. We enjoyed many Sunday picnics with mom and the Artis family of caregivers. These outdoor events in their garden area were well planned and gave us the opportunity to interact with other families …
