Guest Room booking

My mom has tried to book the guest apartment twice over the last 4 months and both times there were problems with her bookings. The first time was for my sister. Booked for 3days but had to spend the first day on a fold away bed because management allowed to previous guest to remain a day over, which was the first day of my mom's booking for my sister. The second time was just recently. My mom had booked the guest room for 3 days for my sister-in-law. My mom booked this room at the end of May or early June and has …

It was very similar to other facilities viewed that day. I enjoyed meeting some of the residents. [name removed] did as well but nothing stood out to him about the place itself. He is still looking.

Impressive

I am a resident in respite care in the assisted living section of Montebello on Academy. Among the many impressive charistics of the facility are the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, the welcoming nature of the other residents as well as the quality and diversity of the food. The staff are very always cheerful and encouraging. They discourage isolation by encouraging the residents to participate in the daily activities and to socialize at dinner. The Montebello on Academy

The residents all seem very happy and engaged.

This was the first tour my parents and I had, and I have to say they set the bar pretty high. [name removed] was very patient, and answered all of our questions. The rooms were acceptable, but the real selling point was the food. A choice between two (delicious sounding) entrees, plus several other grill options if the daily options don’t appeal. They seem to have plenty of activities and groups of residents we gathered at various rooms through the place. My only complaint is that we just missed margarita Monday!

The facility/staff are very friendly and helpful. They know all of the residents' names. They make sure to check on residents, especially if they haven't seen them milling about.
