It has become crystal clear that an assisted living facility should have at its core people (an appropriate ratio of well trained care takers) who are devoted to genuinely caring for and assisting residents to ensure their safety and comfort. The ratio of staff to resident was not adequate to maintain appropriate care and safety. He fell several times and felt staff were slow to respond to his calls for assistance.
