Vitality Court Texas Star

I have not been in this facility as I live out of state. However, I feel compelled to write a review. My brother was a resident at Vitality Cour. He was being taken to group therapy at a nearby mental health facility each day by the Vitality Court staff. Yesterday, by their own account, they forgot to pick him up at 6PM as they were supposed to do. They didn't even notice he was missing until 1:30AM. That is seven and a half hours. How could it have taken that long to notice that one of their residents was missing?…

Our families experience.

They really focus on the residents. They make them feel special. They listen to any concerns you might have. This includes dining room staff, personal caretakers, and the cleaning crew! They are joyful and pleasant to be around! The food is amazing too!!!!

My biggest problem is that the director does not interact with the residents very much. My parents have lived there for a year, and I don't believe he has spoken to them more than 3 times. The rest of the staff is great. The caregivers and nursing staff are great! When they first moved in, the food was good. In the last few months, it is not as good.

Review for Vitality Court Texas Star

The staff at Vitality is fantastic, caring, attentive. The activities are frequent and fun. The food is mostly tolerable. The facilities are well maintained, nice and clean.

A nice community

What we like the most about Vitality Court is that most of the staff are very compassionate and caring. However, the food is not great in variety or taste and that is something they could improve on. We would definitely recommend the community to other families based on the experience so far.

Staff always had a smile on their face. They were helpful some staff in the hall waiting to help you at a minute notice activities were great. Food was excellent.
