PositiveThe place was clean, the staff was friendly, food smelled and looked yummy. I like that this place is like an in between independent living and a nursing home. My uncle can come and go as he pleases and has full autonomy. However the community provides him with 3 meals a day, community activities… there is a convent store and barber shop located on site. My uncle went from being a bit anxious and nervous when we got there to excited to be moving in when we left.

I have made friends here and eat meals at various tables with them. The WFV is an old building and has not been maintained well. I've heard multiple tenants comments on allergies to unknown causes. I suffer greatly when I go down for meals and usually end up sick for several days. I have had pneumonia for the first time in my life, and suffer with multiple allergic reactions.

Most of the staff have been there for several years and really look out for the residents. Although the building is aged, they do a good job keeping it clean and nicely decorated. They have activities throughout the month and management goes out of their way to make families and friends of the residents feel welcome.
