PositiveGreat choice for a loved one
[Name Removed] the nurse made it so easy by transferring all her medication's over and making sure the day she moved in she had it all ready to go. All the staff members there are very friendly and my mom feels very comfortable there. The activities Director [Name Removed] is amazing and does such fun things with all of them. CriticalNot a great experience!
My husband was at Windsor Manor for around 7 weeks before he was ask to leave, with no 30 day notice. Even though they are Memory Care I would not recommend sending a spouse or a loved one there as they are not qualified to handle anyone with Dementia or Alzheimer’s. He did wander, which is common with people with Dementia, but no precautions such as an alarm on his door were put on until the day he had to leave. Everything I’ve seen is good. Everyone we’ve dealt with has been real nice. We’ve been real pleased. I’ve eaten there a couple a couple of times and it was good. There is enough parking. The laundry service has been fine.

PositiveWhen I viewed the communities back in march 2013 I was looking for a nice home for my parents. I went to the Windsor-Manor- Indianola and found the staff to be wonderful the layout and grounds were well kept and the care service we were seeking fit the needs of my parents.

CriticalSo Far, So Good
My mom has been there for a couple of weeks and is slowly getting adjusted. It's terribly expensive, but it's where she needs to be. Most of her meals are provided and there is bingo. A friend of my mother's recently came to visit her there and I don't think my mom would've invited her if she wasn't happy.
