Arden Courts is a wonderful place to consider for your loved ones. During my tour, I witnessed residents who were engaged, happy, and well cared for. The community has a cozy, home-like environment, yet offers plenty of space for residents to walk around and enjoy their freedom to roam safely. I was especially impressed by the 24-hour on-site nursing care, private rooms, a wide variety of activities, and the large, secure outdoor space. Arden Courts truly feels like a supportive and enriching environment for those

Excellent Care for my Mother's Dementia

Arden Courts on Buckingham in Dallas was my Mother's home for 10 years. Her dementia was finally treated properly after a bad experience at a different facility. My Mom had her own room with some things around her that were hers and she was used to seeing. She loved the activities especially the music. The Staff is phenomenal. They all treat the residents with respect and have an upbeat demeanor. I loved that the staff would greet my Mom by name and give some encouraging word or a compliment. Her medications

The Last Resort

Arden Court is very depressing. It is dark and the rooms are quite small. The closet is extremely small. The residents have extreme mental issues. The food is terrible. Bathing is no more than once a week. Some of the staff are very nice, but some are not so nice. The price is very expensive too. We gave them a 30 days notice to leave after only there two weeks. So, we lost the [amount removed] community fee. No person with any memory or ability to carry a conversation should be there. We moved to the [community re

Mom was happy

The ladies and gentlemen that take care of your loved one are fantastic and do a great job. They are unfortunately understaffed in my opinion. My mom seemed very happy and was singing all the time. The food was cafeteria quality. Not homemade like they said. They do offer a lot of snacks and desserts throughout the day. Coffee creamer was powder, no butter on rolls, stuff like that.

Stay Involved, trust your gut.

At the point that we entered the Head Nurse was in the process of retiring. Seems she was the glue that binds everything else. I would say you need to be pretty savvy about your loved ones meds, needs and habits and be a continuous presence there to advocate for them. Had a number of tussles with nursing, and unfortunately even though I was able to make headway, my person was declining quickly. I would also say that if you do have medical issues that you really have to be present because memory care is not really s

A home for Dad

First of all, I needed to place my dad in a Memory Care home after his advance diagnosis, which is never easy for anyone. After interviewing multiple places and locations, I decided on Arden Courts. I cannot say enough good things about [name removed](the Director) and his Entire staff. They went above and beyond anything I was expecting. I was already very emotional and only wanted to do the very best for my dad. [name removed]introduced me to several nurses (Odessa) who has been there for over 20 years and knows
