Asher Point Independent Living of Amarillo

Based on my family's experience, this facility has several ongoing concerns. The food quality has been inconsistent, and some promised improvements to maintenance and cleanliness have not been completed. The outdoor areas are often affected by bird activity, creating unsanitary conditions that can impact residents' comfort and enjoyment. Overall, the experience has been disappointing, and I would not recommend this facility.

The staff at Asher Point were friendly and very helpful. I was able to tour the building and looked at a couple of the apartments. While there I talked to several of the residence who all had good things to say.

Was greeted by staff promptly upon arrival—very impressed with facility and activities facility provides.

Staff has always been super friendly,they always have activities going on,my brother is almost deaf so they put him a doorbell in that lights up so he can tell someone's at the door.

The place was clean and homey, and everyone I saw was nice and friendly. The rooms were lovely and large. Was excited to see the activity room . The lunch room was clean and looked like a relaxed atmosphere. My husband and I really liked it.

Our family's experience

They just completed a remodel recently and everything is nice and fresh and inviting. The executive Director and her staff have been very attentive from the beginning and still if I have a question or concern, they've been wonderful. The dining experience leaves a bit to be desired, but that's probably par for the course. Residents wait for their food till the hour is almost up every meal, but overall, I think the quality is sufficient. There are a lot of wonderful activities offered, but my mom doesn't always part…
