Brookdale Medi Park West

The building was very clean and inviting! Everyone had a smile on their face and genuinely seemed like they loved what they do and cared for the residents! I ate lunch there and the food was wonderful and had a salad bar which is a bonus! The atmosphere there is like no other! There was also live music on the stairs while I was there. Great experience and would highly recommend!

residents and workers makes the difference

The residents here are exceptionally kind and welcoming and loving. Most of the workers are also. There is a great sense of community. The food is pretty good and you couldn't ask for better activity Director. Upper level management is lacking in integrity. They say that they will do things that they have no intention of doing whatsoever. The maintenance/ housekeeping, supervisor treat the residents and housekeeping staff terrible. She loves it there and loves the food. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

The residents all were laughing and enjoying themselves. The facility was clean and neat. The staff was incredible and friendly. They answered my questions and helped me with areas I hadn’t even considered. This place is for my mother. My wife and I both agreed this is where we want to go to when the time comes. Everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

check your room before you move in

Overall Brookdale is good. The food is good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful inside and out . My only problem and it was a big one., My room was not clean when I moved in. The toilet was beyond filthy. AC and heating unit was filthy also. My room had a lot of minor problems that needed to be fixed. There was a lot of that. The maintenance and the cleaning crew could stand a lot of improvement. The vacuum cleaners really don't work at all. They need to be replaced.

Lovely Place

We are so happy that our mom is at Brookdale. She has so much fun there. She has gained so many friends and is the happiest I've seen her since dad passed away. Housekeeping would be the only thing. I wish could be a little more consistent. Overall, we give Brookdale 10 STARS!
