CriticalOur families experience
Overall a 2. My experience ended badly with my mother ending up on hospice and allowed a terrible fall out of bed which left her final days in pain. Administration was not open to good communication or compassion. I should never have moved her there from the [community removed]. I ended up hiring 24 hour visiting angels the last few days to make sure safe. The regular staff that cared for her needs were for the most part very kind.

My mom was a resident at Avamere at Sherwood. They have the staff to care for all of their residents, the staff would come in on their own to sit and visit with my mom. The staff always explained what they were doing so that mom would know. I can't express how much the staff from administration to chefs, to caregivers etc.. take pride in their care for each individual here at this facility. These wonderful people are saints brought here to help people as they move forward towards their goals and new journeys. I can…
