False Advertising on Activities - No Generator

Parents lived here 2021-2023. Main reason we chose it was the promise of multiple different activities onsite as well as outings. Specifically, gardening. We were told not only did the residents garden both flowers and vegetables, some of those veggies were used by the chefs in the meals. No gardening at all. Meals were obviously from Sysco cans. Very unappetizing and bland. They had a social outing for lunch MAYBE once a month. One time an admin called and asked if my parents "really used the patio" because he w…

They offer lots of things they do NOT deliver

I have been here often to visit my mom. There is very little activity throughout the day. Art is twice a month, though they told us they had "lots of art and Spanish classes and music" when we toured. There are no such things. The residents are in their rooms by 4pm, everyone set up to watch TV. Communication between staff at change over is minimal. Medication mistakes, poor housecleaning. My and My parents 5 Year Experience at Avanti Senior Living at Augusta Pines

My personal experience I brought my parent to Avanti Senior Living over 5 years ago. The first thing to attracted me was the layout of the building. The layout is made where the living quarter hallways all lead to the main area. The hallway either dead end requiring you to go in the other direction or the halls circle back to the main area. The building is also all one level, so no elevators or stair climbing is required. (a big plus for older residents). The main area is large, well kept and still looks new. Ther…

People are generally nice and appear happy. Food was good as I remember. I think there needs to be a better variety of activities and more rigorous PE sessions. Not higher intensity just more priority

I highly recommend Avanti at Augusta Pines. The facility is really nice as restaurant uses white cloths for table & napkins. The food is great.
