Our Family Experience

The person in charge of hospitality was fantastic. All of the activities planned for the residents were fun and engaging. Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners were very nice.

An Assisted Living and Memory Care Gem at Novellus Cypresswood

The activities director at Novellus Cypresswood is a dynamo and really gets the clients energized. That was one of the main reasons we selected this facility. The staff is engaged and aim to please. We also have added medication services to my sister's care. The Resident Care Coordinator helped us to get my sister settled in and are looking closely at the level of care needed as time passes. The chef is there and ever present to ensure healthy meals and so far my sister has no complaints. Finally the Biz Office Man

Novellus Cypresswood Assisted Living and Memory Care

I don't think this can be classified as assisted living. You housed my husband for approximately 6 weeks. I did not see much assistance other than making sure he went for meals. My husband was not the easiest to care for. He would not participate in most activities. He could never quite get the hang of the TV or DVD player. He needed daily help with that. No one told me that I would have to supply bedding, toilet paper, mattress protectors, towels, wash rags, extra lamps, extra tables, soap and etc. I would have thoug

5 on all - seriously its an amazing place. It's small. Memory care only has 13 beds. Great staff knows the family members by name. Always getting updated when we can't be there. They get everyone out of bed everyday. Good food and activities.

Novellus Cypresswood Assisted Living and Memory Care

Well I left several messages for the director only to find out she had left. No one ever bothered to call me back. I also left a couple of messages for the care coordinator. Never got a call back but did run into her and spoke with her. When my brother died I don't know who was responsible but they left his eyes and mouth open. I was appalled by this. They didn't bother to inform all of the staff so while I was there waiting on the funeral home a couple of the ladies came with no knowledge of his passing. Overall I

First and foremost, please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of your brother. We are truly sorry for your loss, and equally sorry that your experience during such a difficult time was not what it should have been. This is not reflective of the care and compassion we strive to provide, and we sincerely apologize. Your feedback is very important to us, and we are taking it to heart to ensure we do better. If you’re open to it, we would greatly appreciate the chance to connect with you directly at Gregory.Awrey@Novellusliving.com
