You will be hard-pressed to get anybody to answer phone calls. Our visiting hospice nurse walked around for 20 minutes trying to find any employee to sign off on her visit. Facility is kind of small and cramped. Found roaches in his room. Laundry goes missing. The rooms do not have individual heat or a/c. Had to buy a portable a/c because his room was 92° in the summer. Staff was generally inattentive and my father kept getting injured. No injuries after moving out. We were charged for medications for 2 months afte…

The room size for one person is great. They do have quite a bit of staff changes. I'm not sure about activities as my brother doesn't participate. I know they have a church group come on Saturday to sing and preach Food is ok for the most part ,there again my brother is picky and doesn't eat a lot and at this time his dementia has worsened and he is bed ridden for the most part From what I have seen the food is average for a hospital/ assisted living facility. Bethel Gardens is poorly staff, no security at the front or rear of the facility...All doors are open with no security at the front desk. The staff is unhappy because they're under paid and performing more than one job. The facility is crawling with roaches and no one in the administrative office care. They don't have enough staff. My sister has to beg for a shower. Her emergency button has never worked. The place is not cleaned regularly and the urine smell is apparent. Visible roaches.
