There's a cozy living room, old fashioned dining room, and a family room with a fireplace. Chances are you will hear music, smell something wonderful cooking in the oven, and see people involved in various household tasks. Residents enjoy sorting socks, arranging flowers in a vase, or frosting Christmas cookies. Traffic flows naturally in a circular pattern throughout the house, a design that invites residents to walk and explore. CriticalI felt Country Manor would not be able to take care of my husband because he needs help in everything he does except feeding. himself. They do not have buzzer for him to call for help. He needs to go to the bathroom often and how was he able to call for help. I don't feel they have enough staff to handle the patients. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to visit.

The fact that they claimed to be effective in their care of these types of residents. That all changed once he was in and we found out they were not equipped nor had the knowledge and experience to deal with our father. I would not recommend unless your loved one is at a point in their disease that they are so medicated they don't know any better. I could write a book of our struggles and non of it good. I would go check out Country Manor to see if this would be a good fit for your loved one. The community is able to monitor my loved one for safety (to make sure my loved one doesn't fall), redirection, medication management, and more for care. The community stays in contact with my loved one's doctor to make sure they are well taken care of. They are good about staying in contact with the family and this is wonderful.
