The people there are very friendly. It is a clean place however they just informed us that it is their policy to give the residence their medication and use their pharmacy which raise the price [Amoutn Removed] a month. Highly do NOT recommend. Keep looking elsewhere!

Majority of staff is rude and lazy. Especially evening staff. Food is always cold. It's very hard to get in and out of the memory care unit because they avoid answering the door. They have zero patience or training when it comes to dealing with dementia residents. The facility is filthy. My mom's room was never cleaned and had ants everywhere. Cockroaches were seen often in the common areas. I had to ask every single time I wanted her laundry done or bedding cleaned and it still usually didn't get done. I woul…

Brookdale Urbana

The staff at Brookdale are amazing. They took time to really talk to my mom about all the things they offered that would make her feel right at home even before she moved in. They were empathetic when she missed her old home and proactive in helping with medical issues that were ongoing. My mom raves about the food and I feel like many of the staff have become friends. I feel like she is finally safe and cared for when I can't be around.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the place we had a lunch the lunch was fantastic the food was great the two people that we discussed my friend's problem with couldn't have been nicer it was just a wonderful experience I highly recommend Brookdale Urbana

A clean, well maintained community with an excellent leadership team. This community is a 2 story building with assisted living and memory care services. The activities calendar is full with a variety of age appropriate programs.
