CriticalUnderstanding memory care
In Memory Care I think they try their best. It's too early in the process for me to be really informative but I do think it's important to check in every week. Make sure laundry has been done. Hair cut. Nails trimmed etc. Still learning the process and I have nothing to compare it to so it's hard to say. Definitely tour the place and go with your gut. Rooms are good size, showers are good. Space is good. Dad loves the food.

PositiveFriendly Caring Staff
Staff is Very caring and making my mom feel like family. Very encouraging to her when she had a bout of depression. Keeping me informed when she was having a hard time. Always calling her by name. Love the activities and family dinners or lunches for special occasions /holidays. I do worry about turnover and staffing issues they struggle with, but I know they aren't paid the highest wages.... I think the industry as a whole needs to pay more to keep good staff. But trying to keep rents affordable makes it hard.

Everyone one there has been really nice when we visit. And they let us know about things they are doing through the app. Also nice that they have different activities every hour for them. Visited a few different places, but none of them were as clean and well maintained. The price is on the high end though.

My mom has received great care at Cadence! The smaller size of the facility was at first, to my brother and I seemed too small, that choices would be more limited. But my mom really likes the fact that it's small. She's met some wonderful residents that have been very caring and friendly. We couldn't be happier with the staff.
