One person's experience

I think our situation is a bit different Papa still drives, so he's always gone, he sleeps & eats there, but would prefer to be always on the go. He does share some issues with the amount of staff turn over, the driver for the traveling club left because the facility was making him use his own money for gas, & the food is always an on going issue, to cold, no taste, not enough, just want to mention my papa is food driven so that plays a part in him being kind or unhappy

A nice community with room for improvement.

Staff in office isn't great. In fact clueless most days. They've started charging for things that they didn't before with not much notice. My sister likes the facility. Likes the company and generally likes the meals.

Our Experience

My loved one was previously a resident at Cascade Park Retirement Community and our experience was overall okay at this facility. However, it's an older facility and they have a high staff turnover rate. Most importantly, they did not follow our loved one's care plan to our satisfaction. Also, some of my loved one's personal items went missing. Ultimately, we decided to move our loved one to a different facility and things have been much better.

Overall a nice community

My sister thinks the food could be better. I think she needs more help with housekeeping. The pricing is the most she could afford. If it was me I'd like a bigger room like a one bedroom but she's happy with the studio. Can't afford anything bigger at this time.

Unable to maintain leadership. Shortage of staff. Overworked staff. Issues with cooks and budget along with ordering g and food sources. Residents in the dark scared about this business closing. Price we pay for the benefits we had are gone. This business threatens Residents, move if your not happy.Our temporary management is behind closed doors and everyone is afraid to ask or say anything.
