★★★★★
PositiveVery clean. Staff was attentive. Staff worked really hard to make the transition to memory care as comfortable as possible. Staff was very supportive of family as we struggled with the transition. Communication with the medical providers that see patients on site was great.

PositiveWe were so impressed as soon as we walked in the door! The layout is spacious and inviting. The hallway is wide and there are handrails on both sides. [name removed] has the studio size apartment, which is large enough for a bedroom side and a sitting area with chairs, a recliner and a small table with chairs. She has two closets and a space for a small refrigerator. The bathroom is large enough for a wheelchair and any assistant she may need. The dining room is very pleasant with a view of the private lake . There…

PositiveThe staff is very kind and pleasant. Our family member has mid/late stage dementia and was not promoted on a regular basis to change clothes or bath. The food seems ok, however they do not take into consideration someone with diabetes. They feed carbs at every meal and minimal protein. They seem to have a nice variety of activities probably just not often enough.
Response from the communityThank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you’ve found our team to be kind and pleasant, and we truly value your perspective on areas where we can improve. Resident care, including personal hygiene, nutrition, and activity engagement, is very important to us, and we take concerns like yours seriously. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss your specific observations in more detail to ensure your family member’s needs are fully supported. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Executive Director directly so we can partner together on the best plan of care.

PositiveMy aunt loved living there and I loved visiting her! I would recommend Cedarhurst to anybody that needed a caring loving place for a loved one! I only hate my Aunt had to leave for rehabilitation after breaking her hip. She was at a place where she fell 13 times in less than a month and was in hospital numerous times to have her hip put back in place. Cedarhurst is the place to be! Great group of people work there! Never had any issues! Everyone there was awesome!
Response from the communityThank you for your kind and thoughtful words. We’re so glad your aunt felt at home at Cedarhurst, and that you enjoyed visiting her. While we’re sorry to hear she had to leave for rehabilitation, it means a great deal to know you trusted our team and appreciated the care she received. Your recommendation truly means the world to us!
