CriticalFormer Memory Care director, [name removed], was great. She took a personal interest in my father and kept him engaged and safe. As with all of these communities, it appears, staff turnover was too great. The facility was deteriorating rapidly - the water was out too often, and the landscaping wasn't maintained.
★★★★★
PositiveSeveral shoes have been lost. I replaced some over the holidays and they are now missing again. It's costly to have to keep replacing them. It would be nice to have email or some form of communication with the head nurse or director of nursing. I am only able to contact her by calling the facility. The staff overall seem friendly and attentive when I have been there. I believe they are changing directors at the facility and have not received any updates as to status of that.
★★★★★
PositiveMy parents were there from [date removed] we had a great experience there the staff was very caring and attentive to both of our parents. The room was kept clean they were clean they also made sure that they ate as well and all the medication was given to them in a timely manner. the only issue that I would say we may have had would have been with transportation for doctors appointments. My father passed away [date removed]and then we took my mother out of the facility to live with us.
★★★★★
PositiveThe facility seemed unprepared for my visit with no warm water and a refrigerator that quit working several times, spoiling the contents. The people were friendly but seemed disorganized with a staff change about three weeks before I moved in.
★★★★★
CriticalThe staff for the most part were not well trained for memory care residents. Food and dining was probably a 3. The apartment was a 1. It has a terrible smell from day one and still had the same urine smell when we left after several complaints. The staff was under staffed for the amount of residents that led to many falls to my mom.
