About the community
Welcome to Chelsea Place Memory Care in Aurora, Colorado! Where they’re exclusively devoted to serving memory care patients in a safe and secure community. The staff are specially trained to treat memory care and lead with compassion, integrity, and knowledge. The community is located just east of Denver, next to one of the major cities on the Front Range Urban Corridor of the Rocky Mountains. Community Amenities and Services Because many residents may require additional care in other fields, the community also provides individualized personal care services, such as diabetic care, incontinence care, medication management, and other specialized services as needed. A network of community specialists are available to supplement care as well. Nutrition can be difficult to manage on your own when dealing with memory loss, which is why personalized meals are prepared by a professional chef that seeks to meet the needs of residents’ individual nutrition goals. In between meals, take advantage of indoor and outdoor common areas. Soak up that fresh mountain air in our courtyard, read a book in the living room, or catch up with visiting friends and family in the dining room. Planned group activities are also available on- and off-site — get your body moving, try something new, meet other residents, and explore the surrounding area. Living Arrangements Chelsea Place Memory Care offers studio, one-bedroom, and semi-private apartments. Each of these spacious and sunny units come equipped with services and amenities such as laundry services, housekeeping, maintenance, wheelchair-accessible showers, WiFi, air conditioning, and more. Some ground-floor units and units with bathtubs are available. Respite stays may also be accommodated. Care Types Offered Chelsea Place Memory Care is an assisted living residence , which in the state of Colorado is a residential facility which provides personal services, protective oversight, social care due to impaired capacity to live independently, and 24 hour supervision (but not to the extent that regular 24-hour medical nursing care is required). Assisted living residences may also provide care to no more than 16 elderly persons who are mentally ill. Colorado Facility Inspection Reports Related Articles Memory Care Medication Management Guide

CriticalThe caregivers that worked with the residence were unfriendly and definitely didn't know who you were when you came to visit. My loved one couldn't do anything for himself and did have some dementia, but most of the time was still with it. In the two weeks he was there they sent him to the hospital five or six times. I had to hire someone else to stay with him at night on top of paying their monthly fee. They lost him one time. Didn't know where he was at, and didn't seem to notice he was missing. We were advised b…

PositiveMy mom passed in November 2025. I moved her into Chelsea Place in June or July of 2025. I had originally had her in a house setting care facility for about 6 months that was not the right fit for her. I had originally toured Chelsea Place and was deterred due to cost and thinking that a house setting would be better for her. My only wish is that I had placed her here from the start. The staff are amazing, kind and very compassionate. They are on top of what care the person needs and truly care! [name removed] runs …

PositiveMy Dad has been a resident for two months. [name removed], the director is very approachable and responds quickly to any needs or concerns. The facility smells clean, the food is excellent and easy for residents to eat. The staff are very kind, and the residents are treated with respect. I highly recommend Chelsea Place.

CriticalOut of the two weeks my husband was there there were only a few nights I didn't receive a call. Sent to the hospital at least four times. They lost him one time. Doctors and social workers at the hospital, advised us to move him. They said he apparently was not being taken care of. For memory care unit staff was not very attentive. Really disappointed in them. Also had to spend extra money for someone to stay with him at night..

PositiveChelsea Place Memory Care is without a doubt the best facility or home one could hope for to place a loved one for dementia care. The house is immaculate, the attention paid to each resident is constant, every resident is clean, well dressed, hair combed, sitting in large living room with large tv on. Bedrooms are private with bathrooms attached. There is a routine for meals but water, Boost, and other hydration is always available to the residents on their trays. A large patio is also available with sun coverage …
