I've found the staff to be very attentive to my sister and, she has been adjusting very well to her new surroundings. I was familiar with the facility when it was The Heritage. I actually think this is the best facility in the area. I would absolutely recommend Commonwealth to others looking.

Friendly and Caring Staff

They've been wonderful (despite my mother's inability to come to terms that she is where she needs to be. When it comes to the cleanliness I have no complaints. The staff members are angels. I probably should knock off one half point, but that would be unfair because they are understaffed. And that is more a symptom of the current economy and not the faults of CSL. The meals and dining receive a 3 because the feeling that I get from my mother is that the food is not the greatest.. Really not sure on the activities …

It's a very friendly atmosphere. some residents look out for each other..and they care and miss them when they are not there. ( gone shopping drs. apptmnts, visits w/ family)Our front desk ladies are always kind and helpful, on the phone or in person!! Birthdays are celebrated..as well as just everyday routines.

A happy community.. well taken care of for the most part. I would share w/ friends or family that you have to visit your loved one frequently...so that you know what's going on w/ your loved one, and can be proactive in their care.
