PositiveLots of positives
The staff at Heathwood are friendly & responsive. The food is OK, but redundant in my dad's opinion. Staff turnover in the medical section is high, so he never really gets to know them, unfortunately

Staff is great including admin, maintenance, and healthcare workers. Cleaning and laundry personnel as well. Food is generally good. Inconsistent on weekends with limited staff. Lots of live music each week and party events for all the holidays. So much better in all areas than Fairport Baptist

I would give Heathwood a 4. There have been some instances of poor communication. The facility is spotless! Staff are always friendly and approachable, from maintenance to administration I have had numerous discussions with administrators regarding mom's lack of hygiene. I know they can't force her to shower, but there are techniques to get residents to shower, and I don't believe they use them. Always lovely meals with many options. Generally speaking, the staff are fine. The rooms are very nice. The clientele are sweet. My only complaint is that the nursing and aide staff could be more attentive, but I believe that is true in most locations. Communication with all staff is sometimes lacking.
