CriticalDuring my visit I was reminded of a mini- nursing home hidden in an old house built in a1920 with no central a/c or heat. Three bathrooms serve 15 residents not including staff; Mixed gender. Most residents appeared to be level 3 total care. Most families don't visit. Only one resident attends senior program. The remainder sit and watch TV all day. There is a lovely deck in back which, unfortunately is cluttered with old wheelchairs beds and trash. The fall risk is high with narrow doorways and small cluttered …

The staff are welcoming and helpful.[names removed] are God sent. The facility is clean with a homey feel to it. They provide decent, tasty meals. The staff has been very supportive of my mother during her difficult time. The communication with management is easy, and they are responsive. There's no medical professional on site.

My sis went there with a lot of issues here and I know she was a handful but they have a night caregiver who makes my sister happy she says her name is [names removed] only works weekends but she says they put her at just the right space! Thank god for evergreen.

The manager was very nice but the community was just very old. We had to leave and come back due to lack of communication with the tour

PositiveHome away from home
We chose this community because of the price and they were willing to work with us within our budget. It is also not too far from home and its in a shopping area so if we want to take my mom out to eat or go shopping we can do so. The room sizes are smaller, but you are able to fit two people in the room. It is just enough space. My mother does not complain about the food. I would recommend Evergreen Valley Assisted Living.
