I love it here and try to make up for some of the problems that are present I wouldn't move. Apartments are very nice. They have different sizes at different rates to choose from. We have full kitchens and a washer and dryer in each apartment.

The staff is friendly. My loved one is on the independent side so there is not a lot of interaction with staff that I've been aware of during visits. The facility is going through staff changes. I know they currently have had positions available. The food is good mostly, but not big enough portions from what my loved one says. It's decently clean. Maybe it could stand a little more attention, but it's not horrible... overall I think it's good for the price!

The community is great. The interaction with the residents is also wonderful. My only concerns are with management. There is very little communication from management, and they are difficult to connect with. Would I recommend? Probably with the stipulation that new residents or family members have a detailed plan prior to move in.

Positive[name removed] was a great guide. I enjoyed meeting [name removed] , the chef, and the food smelled amazing! The residents seemed to be enjoying the hair salon and the common areas. They were getting ready to celebrate Christmas with some of the staff’s children and seemed excited about that. My sister is taking our mom to tour today and we hope she likes it like I did. We are hopeful to connect with the Gardens for our mom and dad. We do need to explore the care offerings in more detail before we make final decisi…

PositiveGardens of Gainesville is a lovely facility with all the amenities one could need. It has a number of floor plans from efficiency size to two bed two bath apartments,. The continuance of care is another positive. [name removed] is very knowledgeable, and you can tell she cares about the residents.

CriticalReview for Gardens of Gainesville
It started off well but we haven't been happy for a while. Quality of food is very poor and redundant. I had to throw away his Keurig coffee maker because it was cockroach infested. We fight bugs daily! It's disgusting. They were just bought out and the only communication with the new company is a 5% rent increase. They need to fix their issues before increasing rent. I would not suggest this facility to anyone right now.
