My mother’s Alzheimer’s was progressing while she still maintained most of her independence, so we were searching for a place to meet her changing needs. We prioritized socialization opportunities, on-site medical assistance as needed, a more luxury type room and a ‘home’ feel. Heathwood checked the boxes.
