Towering palm trees and surrounding foliage helps fill our Spanish-style care home with nature’s soothing energy. We strive to foster a family-like atmosphere within our safe, comforting home to provide residents familiarity and support. Each resident is treated with the love and reverence they deserve. Our friendly staff helps ensure residents never feel like they’re a burden — with staff always happy to accommodate any want or need. Residents can always feel active and engaged here at Hillside Garden II. We provide several opportunities for fun off-site excursions every season. From visiting local flower fields and beaches during the warmer months to visiting local outlets and libraries in the colder months, we make sure residents get to enjoy new experiences. Community Amenities and Services Our friendly caregivers work tirelessly to provide high-quality, attentive care to each resident. Two caregivers are available around the clock to happily assist residents with any want or need. Services include assistance with daily activities and medication. For residents requiring dementia care or hospice care, waivers are available to help cover costs. To keep residents well-nourished, we provide delicious, home-cooked meals daily. We’ll even happily accommodate special diets. After breakfast, we encourage residents to build lasting connections with one another. Whether it’s through our social programs or through relaxing in our shared spaces, we provide various opportunities for residents to socialize. Our common spaces include a living room, shady patio, and more. To maximize the services provided on-site, we provide regular visits from doctors, home health nurses, therapists, and dentists — to help ensure residents are properly cared for. Additionally, to keep residents physically and mentally stimulated, we regularly plan activities catered to residents’ interests and capabilities. From light exercises and gardening to live singing and entertainment, we do our best to provide activities for all. We are also happy to provide transportation to residents for errands or for leisure! Living Arrangements At the end of the day when residents are looking to unwind and relax, residents can escape to their comfortable rooms. We currently offer large, private bedrooms with private bathrooms. In case of emergencies, caregivers are available 24/7 to help immediately. Care Types Offered Hillside Garden II is a residential care facility for the elderly (RCFE) , which in the state of California is a housing arrangement for persons 60 years or older where supervision and personal care is provided based on the needs of the residents. These facilities are also known as assisted living facilities and board and care facilities . A residential care facility may provide care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s.
