CriticalThe staff were nice at first then once we decided to take her out they were no longer friendly. When it came to the food they fed them chicken nuggets . You went to the hospital and missed a meal they did not save the resident food. They would make them a sandwich . The activities were minimal and overpriced for the quality of care.

CriticalThere were a lot of reasons we chose inspirations, and perhaps the biggest issue is that my Mother prefers for the most part to be left to her own devices, and they seem to be much more hands on. She's not very happy there, so we are considering whether or not to make a change. The activities there are somewhat below her cognitive level, so she won't participate. this is probably because it's a mixed population of retirees and memory care, so the lowest denominator wins. we have also had issues getting repairs com…

CriticalOur chief concerns were: a) inconsistent meds delivery; sometimes 2 in the morning, sometimes 5, she didn't get Dr ordered ensure every day even though we paid for it; b) on at least three occasions in initial 4 weeks the response time to her call button was over an hour; c) when she began monitoring her meds and wanted to take a picture each time, some staff became belligerent and withheld the meds for later delivery; d) a number of the residents had memory issues and on a couple occasions got ahold of my moms whe…

PositiveShe got excellent care while she was there. It was only 4 months. It truly gave my sister and I relief knowing that. My mom never complained and actually enjoyed the food and liked her care givers. I wish now that I heard of Inspirations long ago and really appreciate all the input A Place for Mom has given us. If you need more detailed info let me know.

PositiveAdmin staff really great, supportive, knowledgeable, helpful and caring/kind. Facility was clean, staff attentive and understanding and patient. My dad started in independent/assisted living, moved to memory care within a year and then hospice care while in memory care and passed away just over a year of living there. Admin helped me, as the family, during all of his transitions and end of life. Very supportive and considerate.

PositiveAlthough my husband keeps to himself and doesn't participate in activities, there do seem to be a lot he could participate in. His room is spacious, and we've decorated it to feel like home. I think he's happy there. Staff are very attentive, and they understand the up and down nature of someone suffering with dementia. They are very kind. They are on top of his medication, ensuring that he is well covered but that he is not over-medicated and sedated. Can't comment on the food. Haven't tried it. The place is b…
