Staff is friendly and competent. Food service is adequate. Dining room provides an opportunity for some social interaction. Room sizes vary depending on price. I have a one-bedroom with small fenced yard for my dog. (My sons installed the fence.)

Las Brisas is the best I can do for the money. I'm not into activities like Bingo & cards. The apartments are priced according to size. So I have a little studio. Weekly cleaning is included. Laundry is not included. Outside caregivers that charge you directly are available. I do my own laundry, and we can use without charge. One negative is that we only have one elevator and 4 floors.

Las Brisas is a very nice facility.

Las Brisas is a very nice senior living community. The location is great. The rooms are very nice also with most all of them having either a deck or patio area. The floors, halls and common areas are all kept up really nicely. The ownership has just changed and they are supposedly going to have meals all day by ordering instead of just the normal 3x a day in the dining room, which will be nice for residents that do not eat on a normal schedule. Dad does not participate in activities. But everyone at Holiday Las Brisas is so kind.

Not what expected

The management was in transition when I got the tour the end of August and now the first week of November they still are short handed. Some of the services we are supposed to have, aren't delivered as expected. Apartment is supposed to be cleaned every week but was more like 2 or 3 weeks. They are trying but meanwhile we are not getting what we pay for.

Not up to speed

When I moved in 4 months ago, the Holiday management was in place. My first week at Las Brisas, the manager was fired, no replacement, housekeeping were fired, and kitchen staff left. Now, a new manager and crew are working hard to rebuild and get back to delivering on the services promised in the advertising. I am confident, and progress is being made. This is a beautiful facility, and I plan on a nice long stay.
