Critical

More good than bad

The facility is nice. The staff are nice my MIL major complaints again has been the food and for us it is billing and Communication. My MIL HATES the food Constantly complains about it Says they all dislike the food. She doesn't get up in time for breakfast yet we have to pay for it. They did have a recent change in the administrator so we're waiting to see if that helps to improve things.

Dad’s studio apartment

Lorien Elkridge is Dad’s new home for the last few months. The transition was made as easy as possible, the nurses and staff helping Dad adjust to his new routine. There has recently been a change in head director and events planning coordinator and we are excited to see the new things to come. There have been a few things that keep me from giving a five star, but I’m confident the issues are being addressed under the new leadership, i.e. nighttime aides not responding quickly enough when dad pushed his button. Mom's new home

I'd say all 5s so far. Staff very understanding with resident's adjustments to new surroundings. Value for cost particularly excellent from other options I have seen. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend the Lorien Elkridge community to other families.
