CriticalDeclining services
I have been a resident of Madison Estates in San Antonio for over 18 months. But due to a very lengthy remodeling effort, services have declined seriously. Employee turnover is extremely high. Currently no maintenance, very limited housekeeping and few servers. The last three or four months, an average of only two meals per day are available in the dining hall. I have come to almost expect the evening meal to be given to us in a plastic bag, and styrofoam box.

So far, they've been amazing! Doug is wonderful. We had visited 3 other communities before Madison Estates. My brother said it felt like "home" as soon as he walked in, and he loves it so far. They are in the process of remodeling, but it's moving rather quickly! He really loves the feel of the environment. Says the people are very nice and welcoming. There's no "rif-raf" ??. It's very clean. He is enjoying the food and the portions. He says there hasn't been a bad meal, yet. But, let me just mention, he'll eat any…
