Wonderful caring staff

During our encounters with the staff, they were honestly caring, respectful and friendly to families. The activities were fun for my mother and she was able to volunteer with event preparation along with enjoying the other residents. Do not have an opinion on the food or dining experience.

They have a beautiful facility with caring staff and administrators. I could not have envisioned having this kind of experience in a long term care facility. The setting lends itself to calmness and a safe environment for its residents.

Magnolia was my mom's choice for an assisted living facility. She had lived in one previously with my dad. After he passed, she moved closer to family and relocated to Magnolia so I have a frame of reference of what to expect. She's been there for a year and her health and well being have severely declined. I had to call the facility to ask them to check up in her once since she was not acting right. They checked her out and said she was fine. Later they found her unresponsive and had her taken to the hospital. The…

The state of GA needs to come and complete inspection. I do not recommend families placing loved ones in this facility.

What we really like about this community is how truly caring the staff members were to my dad. However the activities were very limited due to COVID regulations. Based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend this community to other families.

My mom moved in during a transition of ownership and it seemed like the staff didn't always know the current state of the rules. For example, the pill cords don't work in the rooms although in the tour we were told about how most people rely on them instead of a pendant. Come to find out, the cords don't work and when my mom pulled one after a fall, nobody came to help her for about 2 hours. We got her a pendant after that.
