If your choices are to leave your loved one home alone or take them to Mayfair house, then Mayfair house is the lesser evil. The only positive thing was that they were affordable. They called me at least 4 times to come deal with her. They said they could accommodate her vegan diet. They only fed her salad. So, I had to provide monthly supplies of Amy's soup and Ensure so she could get enough nutrition. They gave her meat and she had diarrhea for 6 days. Our family experience. I would recommend with room for improvements.

I like the friendliness of everyone and they really make my loved one feel at home. They also made the transition there a breeze. They provided my loved one with all of their room furnishings. They are very attentive to my loved one but they could improve on the overall cleanliness of my loved ones body. I've shaved them twice and both times their skin was dirty like they hadn't had a shower or at least their face washed. Can't really rate the meals and dining. He did lose weight while he was there, which really wasn't a bad thing. Again, can't rate the activities. So, our overall experience was not the best for US! People make a difference

From the first moment I walked in I was filled with the feeling, “this is the place for mom”. I have never met a more giving and caring group of people. Every employee introduced themselves during mom’s stay. People came to me whenever I arrived to update me. I am especially grateful to Kim, who was the only one in the hundreds of doctors, nurses and caregivers through hospital and rehab stays, to notice my mother was dying. Most of the staff is very friendly. The biggest negative is the food they serve. The facility is nice and kept clean. The activities director has various activities and guests coming in.
