The staff is very attentive and kind. They have a lot of fun with the residents. They sing and dance and do crafts they take them outside on the patio and in the courtyard. They decorate for every holiday. The place is very clean. They bake special treats.

Poor communications from former and current staff. First example: one staff member was not providing mom with washcloth to cover eyes nor privacy or towel for mom’s modesty when bathing. Complaint made with improvement. Second example: new staff members not informed about specific things about mom IE her being a heavy sleeper. Staff called 911 claiming she was not responsive. EMT comments that she was sleeping. Mom’s room and bathroom are dusty and the floor is often dirty. Carpet appears dusty. Mom has allergies …

5 stars for all categories!! The staff is so kind and loving to the residents. They also have a lot of fun dancing and singing with the residents. There are Activities to keep them entertained. The food is delicious, my mom says, snacks anytime you want one. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

When I found Cottage Grove Memory Care I could hardly believe my eyes, ears and total visceral sense that this would truly be home for my friend. And so, after a hospitalization, we moved her to Cottage Grove. She thrived there, as compared to the decline that she was beginning to experience at her previous facility. My loved one is currently a resident at Cottage Grove Memory Care and her experience at this facility has been very good so far. The cleanliness is good. The staff are all very good and very friendly. The meals are pretty good. The activities are plentiful. Overall, we are happy with our experience at this facility. I would recommend Cottage Grove Memory Care to others who are looking for Memory Care for their loved one.
