PositiveFor anyone asking, this is what I think about our experience so far. I am extremely happy with Aegis. It is the perfect place for my mom. They take such good care of her and are so genuinely caring and attentive. I can't say enough good things about our experience there. They get a million stars, points, whatever for the entertainment during resident happy hour and family nights. Mom has been there two months now and my life has improved tremendously also, as I am less stressed-out managing her care.

PositiveThe staff and facility at Aegis Shadow Ridge is the best I've seen: their activities, the transitions program, the family nights, the app where I can see what my mother is doing is outstanding, and the bi-weekly email communication showing her activities and participation. PositiveThey have a wonderful program called transitions where if your family member needs memory care, but has the capacity to do some activities it allows them to participate in the activities with people that are in the assisted living area. I think it's a super valuable program. Since my dad was in the memory care area, he had a smaller room. And it was perfectly sufficient for everything he had or needed to have in the room.
