My mom was pretty happy at Sierra Hills. She made friends. She found activities to keep her busy. Toward the end it was the small things that changed that made her less happy. They took the crackers off the table at dinner (which made them all ask for them and then horde them). Then they stopped providing a place mat. Then things really turned. My mom started to notice cockroaches in her room. Told the general manager. Her response "Darn, the bug guy was just here...he'll be back next month." But the straw that …
