CriticalRemoving Mother
Let’s start with the food. It’s not healthy at all. They feed them based on cost not quality or health. My mother ended up in ER due to dehydration. She also has bruises on her arm. I hate I selected this facility for my mom. I wouldn’t suggest placing your loved one here. She’s moving out this month.
Response from the communityThank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. At Smyrna Village, providing compassionate care, nutritious meals, and a safe, comfortable environment for our residents is our highest priority. Our meals are prepared daily by an experienced chef using high-quality ingredients, and we regularly receive positive feedback from residents and families about our food. We are also proud of our dedicated caregiving team, many of whom have been with us for years. They are experienced, well-trained, and genuinely care for the residents they serve. Because we respect the privacy of every resident, we cannot discuss or comment on individual care matters in a public forum. However, we always welcome the opportunity to speak directly with families to address concerns, answer questions, and work together to provide the best possible care. We sincerely wish your family all the best.
