The apartment manager is very personable and cares about each resident individually. I am very comfortable talking with her about concerns I have with my mom. She is understanding and willing to help in any way. She lives on the premises and her own mother lives at Belcaro. I am confident my mom is watched out for when I can't be there.

My husband and I moved into Belcaro last March. It is a group of independent living apartments for seniors in a lovely part of Colorado Springs. My mom really loves the apartment! She doesn't even miss her previous home. All of her neighbors are extremely friendly. The manager is a terrific lady who treats every resident like one of her own parents. Belcaro is close to shopping, restaurants and CVS pharmacy, so Mom doesn't have to do a lot of traveling to get what she needs.

Belcaro is on its way to becoming the nicest-looking geezer ghetto in a rapidly deteriorating neighborhood. The current mgr excels at renting rooms and throwing parties, but lacks essential skills for leading people (5 housekeepers hired/fired in 10 months), plans and paperwork. What is immediately convenient for her personally is what's always best for Belcaro. Mgr's whim outranks all medical privacy laws and disability rights.
