Great place for dad

Overall experience 5: It was stressful when we had to move our father to the Portland metro area. We immediately felt like The Cottages was going to be a good fit.. Cleanliness 5: Every area that we've been in has been clean and well maintained. Our dad had incontinence when he was still mobil, which meant the carpet was hard to keep clean in his room; it was replaced with linoleum so it could be kept clean. The main sitting room and dining room have just gotten new furniture, but the old furniture was nice and di…

I would not recommend.

I lasted about a week and took my husband home where I have been caring for him ever since. His room there was dingy and the atmosphere depressing.

It is as good a place as you could find/ friendly staff and a well run machine (even tho staffing is an issue.) They're always concerned with my issues (although I believe I am the exception to the rule) I am there every day; and I have let them know I am watching over their shoulders. I would recommend to others.
